BANANA DONUT Topped with Caramelized Banana || NO YEAST DONUT
Try this new no yeast donut recipe🍩🍩
🌟Banana Donut topped with caramelized banana
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
¾ cup mashed banana
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup canola or coconut oil
Oil for frying
Caramelized banana
Ingredients:
25g butter
1 cup white sugar
1 big banana ( sliced )
¼ cup water
Procedure:
1. Mashed the banana
2. Add egg, oil, sugar and vanilla then mix.
3. Add the flour 1 cup at a time the other cup during kneading.
4. Add baking powder and baking soda.
5. Transfer on the kneading surface. Dust with flour. Knead and add flour until not so much sticky. No need to rest the dough.
6. Cut and form a small ball.
7. Punch with your finger in the middle to create hole and form into donut design🍩🍩
8. Fry. Make sure the donut is floating add more oil so it will not touches on the pan.
9. Fry in medium flame only for even cooking.
For the caramel:
1. Heat a pan. Add the butter. Once it melts, add the sugar. Stir occassionally only.
2. Once the sugar melts and caramelized add water then add the banana..
3. Cook for another 1 min. Then is is done and ready for coating the donut.
4. Dip the donut inside the pan while still hot. Then topped the sliced banana.
